All of the violin, viola, cello and bass melodies on this album were written and recorded by the 5th grade orchestra students at Camelot Intermediate School in Brookings, South Dakota. The music was written on iPads using the free software "iWriteMusic" (iwritemusicapp.com) then recorded using the free software "Audacity" (audacity.sourceforge.net).

The main goal of this project is to teach students that music can be a career! In the 21st century, anyone with a computer can write, record, and sell their own music. To “pay” the musicians for their work, part of the money raised will purchase each composer a tuxedo t-shirt.

The other goal of the project is to raise money for the Brookings Bobcat Orchestra Boosters. The orchestra program in the Brookings, South Dakota public schools has grown from 22 students in 2010 to 365 students in 2014. The rest of the money earned from the sales of the music of this album will be used to help cover the cost of that rapid growth.
